Dark Souls 2

Hi folks. I'm sorry for not updating this in a while. I am going to do a review on Dark Souls 2, by From Software for the Xbox 360. This game is the sequel to the original Dark Souls, with new gameplay options available to players.

The game starts off with your character being put under a curse that can turn your character into a Hollow, a zombie-like creature of sorts. You have to go on a journey to avoid becoming a Hollow. Along the way, you will meet many new characters that may help or harm your character. 

The game is hard. There is no helping besides learning how to play this game. This game is not for those who do not like to be challenged. You will die multiple times in the game. It's that hard.

There is not much online play in Dark Souls 2. The game does not have a bunch of people playing at a time. You can have two people help you beat the bosses of certain areas. People can also invade you and kill you and get rewards for doing so. There are a bunch of ways to invade and kill people or survive. It's up to you. If you want, you may play by yourself.

If you like clans from other games, or being in guilds, etc, then you will like Dark Souls 2's version of those, called covenants. These give you a completely different way to play Dark Souls 2. The covenants can be helpful to people, or even to invade and harm them.

The graphics in the game are pretty decent. They are pretty smooth. I did not see any drop in the game's graphics when I would play the game.

The game is pretty ridiculous sometimes. You may think you may kill an enemy, but they kill you instead. You got to know the combat system completely to win the game. 

Overall, I think that Dark Souls 2 is a really fun game for those who want to be challenged, but not completely destroyed as to not play again.
