Hi Everyone,
Today I am going to review the Battle Royale Portion of Fortnite! It has been out for a long time, so I need to review it. I apologize in advance for not posting in awhile. But hopefully I will get back into this and keep going (for realzies this time).
I will only cover the Battle Royal part. I do not have the Save the World gamemode.
Let's go into the Royale!
What is Fortnite?:
Simple, it is a "battle royale" game where many people drop in from one location, and land in many spots and trying to be the last person standing. There are many weapons, and items available to accomplish this task, but there is a building mechanic, which allows many people to build cover, or fun creations. The building is mostly used for cover though.
Menu:
The UI for this game is fantastic! UI is the layout of the game, the menu, and how it looks and works. This game is fantastic in its layout. The menu is simple. What I mean is that all a person on the Xbox One, or PS4 needs to do is to push the RB/LB Buttons, or the R1/L1 buttons.
There is a bunch of features, such as controller settings, an item shop, etc. The item shop lets someone purchase content with a "VBucks" Option, which sounds perfect to me (pun intended).
Gameplay:
The meat of a review, the game is super fun. It doesn't glitch that much, compared to other games. The building is super smooth, and I can place my blocks with ease. The issue with building is that sometimes my cursor can place blocks in the wrong spot, but unless you are in a life or death gameplay situation that shouldn't matter at all.
The Storm is not that bad either. What's the Storm? The Storm is a moving "clock" and it consistently makes the land smaller, so that people are constantly trying to fight to win, and get closer for more fun games.
Other Modes:
There are plenty of modes in Fortnite. There is a Solo, Duos, and Squads option in the Battle Royale. Those stay around by default, and they will not change at all. There are other modes that will change often, such as 50 v 50 mode, which is an absolute blast to play. There is a Playground mode, which lets friends fight on the same team or against each other. That mode is small and only contains 4 players, nothing else, nothing more.
There are also special event modes too. Those are game modes that Epic Games (the creators of Fortnite) will spew out every once in a while to the people who play the game. The modes are usually fun, such as a "Summer Skirmish" which is going on at the time of this writing.
The Best Part, the Review!:
Based off of my qualifications:
Quality of Fortnite and its Gameplay:
πππππ out of 5
The game is absolutely fantastic. The gameplay is so good, plus it can be played forever.
Spiciness:
πΆπΆπΆπΆ out of 5
This game can make you mad. Not as bad as Mario Tennis Aces. That's a whole other problem.
Juiciness:
πΈπΈπΈπΈπΈ out of 5
This game has a lot of memes. They are everywhere.
