Hi Everyone,
(I transitioned back from Wordpress to Blogger. It works better for me. This is a post from the other site)
Today I am going to make a review about the hit game, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It is for the Nintendo Switch console.
It is a fighting game, but with more fun elements. There are items, and fun mechanics, with a fun story mode. I absolutely love this game with my whole heart and soul, and as such will go hugely in depth to give you the best review.
The game is super in depth. I won't be going over mechanics, as that is worthy of a whole post. So to save you the trouble, I only will cover the modes, and the story. Not the mechanics, unless I get a big request to by you all.
For this review, I will talk about the adventure mode, called the World of Light, and the mechanics of the game. Now that I took care of the introduction, it is Time to Settle This, in a Review (yes, these memes are amazing)!
There are several modes that can accomplish this goal. The first is Smash, where you can customize the rules to a default setting. You can customize the rules to a specific setting, and from there the rules can get pretty intense. In addition to that, you can be on teams, from green to blue to yellow to red.
In addition to the teams and characters, there are additional rulesets, like items, or stage hazards. Competitive players turn them off, but for the regular game, they are even better on. The more chaos the more fun. The matches can be hazardous with them on, but that's honestly what makes the game a heck of a lot of fun.
After Smash, that there is the Squad Strike mode, where groups of three or five (or more) people compete against each other, in a team based crew battle. It will say 3v3 or 5v5. When you play from there, you can customize the names of your team, and the characters chosen.
The customization of the controls is honestly one of the best parts of Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Picture this. You can input a name in (we will use Ethan as an example). So, in the controls, I can make a name called Ethan, and then customize each individual button to the control scheme that I need to do well in the game. It is very smooth, easy and functional. I highly recommend it, especially for those that want to get competitive.
Now that I have covered the gameplay and the modes, I will go on to the story, The World of Light!
There is this angry dude named Galeem, who obliterates the characters with a beam of light, except for Kirby. Kirby then finds his friends, who were captured by the beam. But they turn on him, and he has to go and save them. When he saves a character, they can be used to beat the game.
The story mode has a skill tree like an RPG, and you can use skills (called Skill Spheres in this game) to upgrade all of your characters. There is a dual-sided skill tree that can help you unlock all of the skills. Nothing will be blocked off in that tree, and you can get all of the skills.
There are several roadblocks that prevent you from progressing, which can be kind of annoying. But what you do is to just go around them. You can still progress through the game, but you won't be able to get that character, until you go back.
This mode has a bunch of Spirits, which are non-playable characters that got beamed by Galeem. You can use those Spirits to defeat other characters, and save the world. The system is very unique, and is a nice way to feel overpowered. Some of them are hard to unlock though, and some of them are a pain to fight. Some have taken me forever to fight. I got used to it though, and managed to unlock a lot more.
I give this game a

Gameplay (the Modes):
As I mentioned earlier, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a fighting game, and has several players (up to 8) compete in matches to fight to become the winner. There are several modes that can accomplish this goal. The first is Smash, where you can customize the rules to a default setting. You can customize the rules to a specific setting, and from there the rules can get pretty intense. Story Mode:
Here we go! To cap this off, lets begin with how it works. There is this angry dude named Galeem, who obliterates the characters with a beam of light, except for Kirby. Kirby then finds his friends, who were captured by the beam. But they turn on him, and he has to go and save them. When he saves a character, they can be used to beat the game.

Overall:
I really enjoyed the game. I still play it all the time, and I play in competitive tournaments. I absolutely enjoy this game, and I cannot wait to see what else comes along!I give this game a
4 out of 5 stars.
It is only a 4 because the Spirits are hard to unlock, but otherwise it is a 5 out of 5.Do you agree or disagree with this? If so, leave a comment, or follow my blog. I do this out of pure dedication, so the support clearly helps me out!
