Hello Everyone,
Today I am writing a review of Battleblock Theater for the Xbox 360 (Xbox One).
It is made by the Behemoth, and it is a platformer.
Time for the Story and Gameplay!
Story:
You are a ember of a ship crew. You then sadly get stranded (no Death Stranding Puns intended) on an island of cats. Your crew gets captured by the cats, and then you have to perform dangerous platforming levels in order to survive.
The game is absolutely hilarious. The narrator is the greatest narrator in the history of gaming itself. You will laugh so hard, even after you rewatch all of the cut scenes. It is that funny.
Gameplay:
It is a simple platformer. You have to jump, double jump and fight your way through each level. Each level has different platforms that you have to use to get 3 (or more) gems, which then opens the gate to complete the level. It is very interesting, and the levels are designed to get them in order, but you can't necessarily get stuck.
Each level is well though out. I didn't have any issues in the company created levels. The community ones are different.
In addition to the levels that the Behemoth made for the players, there are levels made by the players. Those are hit or miss. Some of them are absolutely great, and some are just awful.
There are also other game modes, like soccer (for a platformer), and other silly modes. Those are fun, but not the true levels that the game was intended for.
Overall:
I give the game a 5 out of 5.

Ethan! There are cats in this game? I'm sold. Are there any really funny user-created levels?
